Felicia C. Feist
Clerk of Court
Felicia C. Feist was sworn in as the new Clerk of Court on June 30, 2024 becoming the first African-American elected to the position. Feist promises transparency and new technological advancements during her tenure. St. John the Baptist Parish residents may feel free to visit her at the Edgard Courthouse for all their needs.

Birth
Certificates
Birth Certificates are issued at both of our locations on
Mondays - Fridays from
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The fee for a Birth Certificate is $34.00 and must be paid in
CASH ONLY (Exact CASH please).
Marriage
Licenses
The Clerk of Court office is honored to assist you with your marriage license at our Westbank and Eastbank locations. Please note that we accept money orders and cash (exact cash preferred).

The Clerk of Court collects fees for the service that is provided. The Clerk's Office does not receive any funding or ad valorem taxes.
